This Privacy Policy explains how the SecuAir Attendance app and the SecuAir platform (“SecuAir”, “we”, “us”), operated by SecuLogix, handle your information. SecuAir Attendance is a workplace app. Your account is provisioned by your employer, which is the data controller responsible for your attendance data; we act as their service provider (processor).
Information we collect
- Identity & profile — your name, employee code, and (if your employer adds them) work email, phone, department, designation and shift.
- Attendance records — your punch in/out times, computed status (present, late, leave, etc.) and related notes.
- Location — your device’s GPS location at the moment you punch, used only to confirm you are inside your employer’s authorized attendance zone.
- Proximity & device signals — the presence and signal strength (RSSI) of nearby SecuAir modules/beacons, plus basic device information (model, OS version, app version, battery) needed for reliable, secure punching.

Face verification (biometric) data
To confirm that a punch is really made by you, the app performs a face check during enrollment and at punch time. Where your device supports it, this verification happens on your device. To enable verification, a mathematical face template (a numeric representation — not a viewable photograph) may be securely stored on your employer’s SecuAir system.
This face data is used solely to verify your identity for attendance. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used for any surveillance purpose beyond confirming attendance. You can ask your employer to delete your face template at any time (see “Your rights”).
How we use your information
- Verify your identity and record your attendance.
- Enforce your employer’s location and SecuAir‑proximity attendance rules.
- Keep the service secure and prevent fraudulent punches.
- Provide support and fix problems.
How your information is shared
- Your employer — the organization that provisioned your account can see your attendance records as part of managing your work.
- Service providers — trusted infrastructure/hosting providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data and the app contains no advertising.
Data storage & security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and protected with access controls. Punches made offline are stored on your device and synced securely when you are back online. We retain personal data for as long as your employer requires it for attendance and payroll purposes, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data — including your face template — and to withdraw consent. Because your employer controls your attendance data, please raise these requests with your employer/administrator, or contact us at the address below and we will assist them.
Children
SecuAir Attendance is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
